Oakwood Backyard Refresh
This Oakwood project began with a thoughtful landscape design that addressed the uneven grade, outdated concrete patio, and drainage concerns around the home. By creating a clear plan that balanced hardscapes, turf areas, and water flow solutions, we were able to transform the yard into a more inviting and functional outdoor environment.
After completing the grading work, we removed the existing concrete patio to make room for a spacious new paver patio that gives the homeowners a durable, attractive place for outdoor living. A retaining wall was added to stabilize the slope and create clean transitions between levels of the yard, while targeted drainage improvements ensured that rainwater is directed safely away from the home and hardscape surfaces.
To complete the renovation, we updated irrigation lines for better water coverage and installed fresh sod to provide a lush, healthy lawn around the new patio. These finishing touches tied the whole project together, creating a crisp, polished backyard space that feels both modern and low-maintenance while being ideally suited for life in Oakwood, Georgia.
